“We are a movement that is creating awareness, visibility, and a safe space. We are creating peer-to-peer support, networking, and advocacy, for intersex persons through speaking out on the stigma and discrimination faced by intersex persons, engaging, with stakeholders for a ban on intersex Genital Mutilation, gender affirming healthcare, legal recognition for intersex persons as a third sex marker. We hope to see a Ghana where policies are inclusive and tailored towards liberation for Intersex persons in all aspects of their humanity rather than medicalization of their bodies. Liberation in its wholeness towards a good self actualization.”
